\\#1 Double Love;
Rated:4/5 Stars
Most Exciting Scene:
I guess it would have to be Rick and Jessica's date at Kelly's. I always enjoy reading about
Kelly's.
Most Touching Scene:
Todd "touching" Jessica after their date. ^_^ Um...Winston's conversation with Liz at the
dance, I guess. They try to break away that not-quite-yet established class clown characature
pretty quick, though.
Most Ridiculous Scene:
The car chase where Rick basically kidnaps Liz and Jess and Todd comes to save them in his
mighty Datsun. That was beyond... I'll just shut up.
Most Frustrating Scene:
Todd Ronnie and Enid when they're on their little threesome date and talk about Liz. Todd
never even asked her if she really went to Kelly's and he's all upset because she's not the
person he thought she was. He hardly knows the girl, for God's sake! Who the hell does he
think he is to to judge her?!
Most Upsetting Scene:
Jessica lying to Liz about Todd grabbing her. Did I ever mention I don't like Jessica?
Most Entertaining Scene:
Winston standing up to Bruce. *gigglegiggle* *giggle* *ccs giggle*
Favorite Character in the Book:
Winston. Because Winston's dorky and cool.
Least Favorite Character in the Book:
Jessica "le'Bitch" Wakefield. She was even worse in the beginning. However, over the course
of reading it I did notice a striking similarity between her and Vic Abernathy, an OC of
mine and my love, which rather disturbs me. I will say in Vicki's defense is he isn't so
shallow and not so willing to hurt the people he cares about. He'll hurt them, just for
better reasons.
What Should Have Been Included:
More of Steven's relationship with Tricia. It was so brushed over. While reading you're
like "and why do I care?"
Other Comments:
The books were much more realistic in the begining, I noticed. Some might scoff at that,
but not so much the situations as the characters. They act like actual teenagers. They're
ass holes, they're full of themselves, and they have very real prejudaces. Overall, they're
very flawed. Different than later on how we get a rendition in every book on how perfect
the twins are shoved down our throats. They lose their "raw edge" if you will. But I guess
after 184 books any one would. ^_^
