Most Exciting Scene: When Lila gets caught for shoplifting.
Most Touching Scene: When Robin starts talking to Liz again after she loses all the weight. It was nice to see someone fat and unpopular change.
Most Ridiculous Scene: Jessica keeping to pretend that she's doing what's best for Robin and insisting it's all Liz's fault she got blackballed.
Most Frustrating Scene: After everything Jess had put Robin through, Liz still defended her.
Most Upsetting Scene: After everything Robin went through and did exactly what she told her to do, Jessica still had the nerve to blackballed her.
Most Entertaining Scene: Tis a tie! Liz bribing Bruce to take Robin to the dance and Bruce playing chauffer to Robin and Allen.
Favorite Character in the Book: Robin. I admire how she came around "saw the light" so to speak. She was able to lose all that weight and become popular and everything. And that she didn't go back to the Pi Beta's.
Least Favorite Character in the Book: Jessica. She has no shame.
Notable conspiracies: Elizabeth describes Jessica as not only being a great dancer and terrific cheerleader, but a sensational surfer as well. But didn't she only learn to surf in #121 In Love with the Enemy?
Additional Comments: This book has never been one of my favorites. It takes place over a long period of time, and with such a short book it drags. It also has a very distinct after school special feel to it. I admire Robin's character, but I think the book could've been a little better. Though I do love the sideplot with Lila shoplifting. There's a lot going on under the surface with her and that's the first glimpse you get of it. She's one of my favorite characters.
