Fanfic of the Cain Saga/God Child by Kaori Yuki

I think I got this idea while reading the Innocent Dark by J.S. Forrester for the first time. The nursery rhyme, Man of Words, was in that book, and I remember thinking Cain would probably like that.
Back then I was very into rushing through things to get them done. I'm learning to take my time and working on putting a little more thought into things, and I'm in the process of rewriting this as well. But for now I'll include the old one. I do like this story. I think it fits the tone of Cain, though it's very dry and lacks description. I attributed to that to how Kaori Yuki leaves a lot of things unsaid in that story, and I that was what I wanted it to convery, but I think I failed at that. The new version is coming along much smoother.
